I love this image from Lili of the Valley, the cat is adorable. My cat is poorly tonight, there's something wrong with his leg, so I'm going to try and take him to the vets tomorrow. When I say he's my cat, he's not really. He just turned up one day and decided to stay, and he's still very wild, so I think it's going to be fun and games tomorrow!! An Award

Whilst I was sick in bed with the flu, the very talented and generous Elaine from A Technophobes Blog gave me this truly wonderful award. This flu hit me for six, it knocked me right off my feet and put me in bed for a couple of days, all I could do was drag myself to the bathroom and back to bed. I'm still not much better, but at least I'm out of bed and able to eat very small amounts of food. Buttons galore!

I love buttons, I have a large collection different sizes, colours and shapes, so why don't I use them more often????? Infact why don't I use more of my older stash instead of buying more????? From now on I'm going to use the stash that I already have and not buy any new (unless I really, really need it!). Anyway, back to buttons, as you can see on my card I used a few. I really don't know where last year went, but it came and went with a blink of an eye. I'm just hoping this year might go a little slower so I sit back and enjoy it!!!

Well it's a new year, so I thought I'd better change my blogging ways ..... in other words blog (before I forget how to!!) I've been back for a week now, and I've been busy making a few male cards. I enjoyed making them, but I can't wait to get back to some girly ones (I've been shopping at LOTV again and I'm waiting for another order to arrive ssshhhhh don't tell DH!). My dad is recovering well after his triple heart by-pass, that's what I was up to over in the UK, trying to look after both my parents. I must say, dad is taking really good care of himself and doing what he's told, just wish I could say the same about my mum *roll eyes* she won't ever change, and I suppose that's why soo many people love her.

Anyway enough waffle!, this card I made using the sketch over at Stamp with Fun. I changed a couple of things, because I didn't look at the sketch when I was sticking everything down DUH!

I've been playing around with my new stamps (well they aren't that new anymore) Frame It from Waltzingmouse Stamps and I must say, I love the clean and simple look and it's really easy with this set. Last friday Verve Stamps had an Anni-VERVE-sary party with a fantastic release of their new stamps. I have finally uwsed one of my new sets from Waltzinghouse Stamps (I hang my head in shame, 'cause I've had this set for around 2 months and haven't even opened the package!!!). My latest babies

I've been taking loads of photos of my babies (and mammies) lately, but I haven't put any on here for ages, so I decided to post some of my latest babies.

This is Pepper, he was born early last week, but the photo was taken on wednesday.

Here's Pepper and his mammy PegLeg. We gave her that name 'cause when she walks slowly she always kicks out her back leg in a funny way! Strange cow, but she is gorgeous.

This is our newest, Mighty Mouse with his mammy Doris (she's mean looking, but she is really quiet). Mighty Mouse was born on tuesday night and this photo was taken wednesday morning. He was born outside in the field, but we had terrible rain, so Martin put them both inside the shed to keep dry.

Well I'm just not used to this hot and muggy weather. We have no sun but the temperature is up to 25c and it's going to get hotter for the weekend eeekkkk! I'm slowly catching up making cards, maybe if I stayed off the computer for longer I might catch up quicker LOL! The other day I had a box of gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, I just love their flowers, so I decided to use them instead of looking at them 'cause they look very pretty in a large box container. I've used stickles to add abit of glitter to the flowers and around the image, but the photos don't pick that up.

I can't believe how quick the weeks are flying by, it will soon be christmas!!!!!! I'm going to be organised this year, well I'm hoping to get my christmas cards made early so it's not a big rush come december (that's my big plan anyway!).

Anyway back to the present ..... my sister in law gave me a beautiful necklace as a gift last week, so I decided to make her a card just to say 'thank you'. I used one of my new Tiddly Inks downloads, this little bug is really cute, just love her to bits!.

I'm back

from a long weekend away which turned into nearly two and half weeks away. Oh the joys of Mother Nature. I didn't mind too much as I was staying with my parents in the UK, and I woke to the sound of seagulls and the smell of the sea. I was caught up with the 'no fly zone' with the ash cloud that paralized northern europe.

Then on 20th my nan passed away very peacefully. We knew she didn't have long, but none the less, it was still painful to watch her drift away. So rest in peace Nana, you're with Grampa now.

So all this means I'm very late with making birthday cards, and I'm slowly catching up. This is the first card I made with my new Lili of the Valley stamps.

A touch of spring

Woohooo, I can't believe it, spring is here and the fields have just turned a little greener so fingers crossed we'll have grass for the cattle soon. I'm sure they're just dying to get out of the smelly shed and run around the fields. It's really funny to watch them when they first get out, even the big fat cows run, jump and kick their back legs out. There's quite a few challenges with the theme of 'spring', and as I had to make a card for a friend I decided to play along with that theme. A card for my mum

I'm a terrible blogger! I really need to get more organised, but in the meanwhile, here is a Mother's day card that I made for my wonderful mum. As I played along with S ketch and Stash challenge I had to use a neglected item of stash or something new, and now I have to confess my poor neglected item is my Sugar Nellie stamp - Sweet 'n' Sassy and I don't know why I don't use her more often.
